After working at McKinsey & Company, he has been a self-employed management consultant since 1993. He focuses on bridging the gap between hard facts (strategies, structures, processes) and soft facts (leadership, culture, emotions). In addition to advising companies, he coaches top managers and conducts management audits. Since 2017, he has been the chairman of gfo - Gesellschaft für Organisation e.V.
